    Tan Social Care will gather private information and bank details from individuals when training is reserved for our courses. This may include contact information such as your name, title, address, physical address, telephone numbers, job title, company and more. We may also ask for some additional, non-personal information if required.

    We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

    • Internal record keeping.
    • We may use the information to improve our products and services.
    • We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.
    • From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

    Your private information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties without your authorisation except when it is a mandatory legal requirement.

    1. We will take reasonable securities to prevent loss, misuse or alteration of information you give us.

    2. Our website contains information that enables a quick and direct electronic contact to us either by e-mail or via a contact form. Should you use our contact form, the data entered is stored within the website Content Management System (CMS) for a maximum of 12 months. The content of the form is also sent to us via email. This information is for our use only and not given to any 3rd parties.

    3. The data entered/collected is also sometimes sent via email to a member of Pink House Design, to ensure the system is working correctly. As our web developer/maintenance/hosting company, they have also have access to the CMS and this information but do not have permission to use/distribute or contact you by any means. They are bound by confidentiality through Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2018).

    4. All communications will be sent by e-mail. Sensitive information will be sent by encrypted emails. We attempt to keep our systems and communications safe and secure against viruses and unsafe effects however we cannot bear responsibility as we cannot guarantee all communications to be virus-free.

    5. We are not liable for any damage or loss arising from loss of data or profits mounting out of, or in connection with, the usage of this site.

    6. During the use of this website, you can link to other websites which are not under the control of Tan Social Care. As Tan Social Care we have no control over the content and information availability of that website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question. The insertion of any links does not endorse the opinions expressed within them.

    7. Every possible work will be done to make sure the website functioning well. Tan Social Care will take no responsibility and not accountable for, the website being momentarily unobtainable due to technical issues outside our control.

    We use a number of third parties to process personal data on our behalf. These third parties have been carefully chosen and all of them comply with the legislation set out in section “Applicable legislation”.

    Google Analytics

    We use Google Analytics (GA) on our site to track user interaction. The information collected is for our own use to interpret and better understand how people use our website. No information personally identifies you to us, GA records your IP address, which could be used to personally identify you but Google do not grant us access to this data. Disabling cookies will prevent GA from tracking your visit.

    Stripe (Stripe Ltd)

    When you initially provide or update your payment information, we transmit it via an encrypted connection to our Payment Processor, Stripe. Stripe uses and processes your payment information in accordance with Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We don’t store your payment information, other than the amount and date you paid for administrative purposes and to comply with tax and other government regulations.

    This website is hosted with Stable Host; full information about the company can be found by clicking the link. All information between the website server and your browser is encrypted and delivered by HTTPS over SSL.

  7. Data breaches

    In the case of a personal data breach of this website’s database or the database(s) of any of our third party data processors, we will notify all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours after having become aware of it, if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.

  8. How we use cookies

    A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used (see Google Analytics, above). Such limitation shall further apply concerning the performance or non-performance of Tan websites or any information that appears on, or is linked or related in any way to, the Tan websites. Under no circumstances, shall Tan Social Care or its licensors be held accountable for any delay or failure in performance resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces, or causes beyond its reasonable control. The forces include without limitation, internet failures, computer equipment failures, telecommunication equipment failures, other equipment failures, electrical power failures, strikes, labour disputes fires, floods, storms, explosions, or governmental actions.

You understand and agree that you download or otherwise obtain material or data through the use of Tan Social Care websites at your own decision and risk and that you will be exclusively responsible for any damages to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download of such material or data.
